My Time CIC began as a community-based therapeutic educational provider, specialising in confidence building programmes. It is based in Small Heath, Birmingham and was formed in September 2002 by socially engaged psychologists and educationalists who were commissioned by an innovative West Midlands partnership between housing, faith, health and educational groups to develop a supportive confidence building programme for women in South Staffordshire.

My Time was developed through research on the effects of informal education on levels of self-esteem amongst people experiencing depression and anxiety.
