- What are My Time's opening hours?
Monday - Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm
- Are there any volunteering opportunities within My Time?
Yes there are, please enquire at My Time Offices.
- Does My Time offer free counselling?
Yes we do, however this is postcode specific. Please enquire within.
- Does My Time offer any support for Asylum Seekers?
Yes we do. We currently hold a drop-in day for asylum seekers every Thursday 10.00am - 4.00pm. This is called Sanctuary and is held in partnership with ASIRT. ASIRT offer legal advice whilst we offer counselling. Food is also made available.
- How can My Time's Counselling Service be accessed?
There are three ways:
Referral Form - Organisations fill this in and send it to us. We then contact the client directly.
Self- Referral Form - Interested persons fill this in on their own behalf and send it to us. We will then contact them.
Referral within My Time Form - People already on a My Time course can ask to be referred for counselling.
Note: All forms are available on request.
- How can Asylum Seekers access Sanctuary?
Once a referal form is obtained, My Time will contact the client and refer that client to the drop-in day.
- Can a counselling client benefit from My Time's courses?
Yes of course. Anybody receiving counselling can be referred to a My Time course via a Referral within My Time form.
- What courses and projects is My Time involved in?
This can be seen in the section: My Time Learning.
- Is My Time a faith-based service?
No it is not. We work with a wide range of communities from a diverse set of faiths.
- Does My Time offer both male and female counsellors?
Yes we do. You can make this request when applying for counselling.
