- In 2006 with the support of Aspire (a birmingham based asylum seeker support organisation) and the European Union we began two projects, one entitled the Sanctuary Project, the other recognising trauma. Both explored the psychological effects of aslyum seeking.

Towards a reflective practice
- In 2007, with help from Aspire and the European social fund we embarked on a series of study visits to different European organisations that support Asylum seekers and refugees. We also played host to various delegations that visited us during the year. This report entitled 'Towards a reflective practice through study visits' explains the outcomes of these study visits and how they have informed our own practice.
